Staff Nurse Nirmila applies tikka to the forehead of Dr. Bibhusan Basnet, former Medical Director, during his going away gathering on September 25th. Tikka is applied during many ceremonies, and is given as a blessing prior to departure. More than 40 Bayalpata Hospital staff members gathered at lunchtime to extend their best wishes to Bibhusan and to thank him for all of his dedicated work.

Jesse Brady is the Director of Research and Advocacy for Nyaya Health. She graduated with an MS in International Medicine and currently works at Bayalpata Hospital in Achham, Nepal.
